Random Crashers With Skyrim Together

I use this mod with skyrim together and a lot of the times it crashed on loading (i think i needed a save without any other mods) but i managed to fix this, the main problem is that when i pick up some items it just crashes, i don't get what it is

it seems to crash whenever i take an item that is worn by a corpse, mainly in the moment where an item should be removed from the actual in game corpse

Thanks for the report. Could you be a bit more specific about reproducing the bug? Is the item added to the wheel before it's removed from the corpse?

ok, so those sare the prerequisites:

• Install mod skyrim together reborn (i'm usually the host of the server too but even if i don't run it it still crashes)
• Install mod wheeler v0_0_5 of the mod menu linked in the last patreon post (it also happens with the older versions)
• Install mod address libraries for SKSE
• Install mod skyui 5_2_SE (i can't seem to assign the slots of the wheel menu without this mod, but i like skui so it's fine)
• Install mod skse 64_2_02_03
• don't know if this matters but i'm playing in italian

how to replicate: my specific case

• i'm in whiterun
• go up to the vendor or a guard
• kill them
• loot them: either with r-key (loot all) or by selecting the single items
• crash in this case it seems a bit random the crash, it always happens whenever i loot, but it's inconsistent the problem is only when i loot otherwise it works perfectly. i know it's the wheeler because i have tried to replicate without the mod installed and it doesen't crash

generic case

• go up to any npc
• kill them
• loot them
• crash as i said before the crash seems a bit random but it always happens on the looting screen immediatly when i loot an item

i would give you a more detailed crash log but all the mods i've installed for a crash log don't really give much info

also i've tried to build the mod but the tutorials i found online don't work with this repo, could you link me a guide on how to build and debug your mod? i'm a software developer but i don't really have any experience with modding skyrim.

also when i shift the mods around (adding or removing them) i need a fresh save to load (without any mods) if i want to play with the wheel menu (i will open up another issue for this as it's a bit off topic even tho it's still a crash) but this has a simple and consistent workaround so it's not a big deal.

Hi, thanks for the detailed report. I'm busy implementing other features for wheeler now; but your report should give me a really good head start. I need some other information if you could:

• Does the crash happen when you take items from chests, or buy items from vendors?
• Does the crash happen when you pick items from the ground?
• Does the crash happen if you loot an already dead body?
• It could be really helpful if you provide a .NET script crash log.

I'm still not really sure where Wheeler could cause the CTD. None of its functions interacts with the loot menu IIRC.

I've installed the new pre release version, and the problem still stands the crash also happens when:

• Buy items from vendors
• loot from dead body
• [edit]it also happens when i try to loot those chests beneath the merchants

the crash does not happen when:

• i take items from chests
• i take phisical items from the world (like baskets, plates, cups, ect)

doesen't seem to happen when i steal but it could be the random factor, i've not tested it a lot since i always get caught.

Does the mod have any other requirement i need to install? I'm trying to get you a .NET report but i'm having some trouble with the installation of the NET script framework mod
