Thanks for your contributions! It would be nice if you please let me you if you are going to release Video-LLaMA checkpoints with LLaMA 3.1 anytime soon.

Hi Shraman, thanks for your interest. We may not have a plan for supporting LLaMA 3.1 due to the lack of manpower but we have released VideoLLaMA2 backboned by other performant LLMs like Mistral and Qwen2, please refer to VideoLLaMA2's repo for more details.
