We are on the cusp of unveiling an exciting venture, the "Grant Ships" program, in collaboration with Plurality Labs. Our aim is to empower and invigorate the Arbitrum community through this initiative. As we approach the completion of our development phase, slated for mid-February, we are setting the stage for a beta round of grants specifically tailored for the Arbitrum ecosystem.

The Grant Ships program is more than just a funding opportunity; it's a collaborative effort to identify and support projects that have the potential to make a significant impact within the Arbitrum community. To achieve this, we plan to form dedicated teams (aka Grant Ships) responsible for awarding these grants, ensuring a thoughtful and community-driven approach to each selection.

We take a community driven approach, where members of the Arbitrum community will have the opportunity to form these ships, and run their "micro grants" program as they see fit. At the end of a season, the grants awarded are evaluated for impact. This reflects on the performance of each team and will be a factor in determining future funding for each ship.
