creating a record for a new shobbolized user #2

For now when a shibbolized user logged-in for the first time, a record for her/him generated automatically with fields "name" and "e-mail" filled in with the remote-id. Not that fine. The principal can edit his/her data using a special form update "current user".
However I need: either ask a front-end for at least the e-mail, when a principal is "fresh", or ask the shibboleth for the information. Do now know how to do use the second approach yet.

The user can create a record herself/himself using his her credentials.
