I just downloaded the latest git source and there is no APM_camera file.

Full camera operation and stabilization (not tracking) and Mission Planner 
support is included in ArduCopter 2.5 firmware.
I am asking for that same functionality be included in the release ArduPlane 
firmware.

There is no APM_Camera file. There is a APM_Camera git branch. And that is what 
you need to get. Just read that wiki page more carefully.

  APM_Camera git branch stabilisation does not work. Read comments under section in wiki. Somenthing is missing in code.
