battery is draining very fast as the wifi is automatically on in the latest apps :-( #44

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Pressing Settings icon automatically connects to wifi even if airplane mode
is set to on
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Pressing settings should not automatically start the wifi. This drains the
battery and after installing the latest root and latest apps my battery drained
from 80% to 0 within a day. I feel the wifi control should be with the users
and we can turn on and off the wifi whenever required.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
softroot 2.4.1 and all latest versions of trook, nookMarket, wifiLocker

Do you have any output from "adb logcat" that contains stack traces or logs
that might be related?

Update: I restored back to root 2.4.0 version and also with that restored the
previous versions of trook and wifiLocker. now i dont face this problem. I feel
it is better to not automatically start wifi. Hope this will be restored soon
:-)

I also have this issue and I have found that I press settin it turns the Wifi
on (even in airplane mode) and then even turning on and off airplane mode does
NOT stop the wifi and there is now no way to turn it off. (hence battery drains
in hours)

I will try to change to the previous version as nook is currently unusable in
this state.
