Please implement "Manual Refresh Only" in the Library #128

Hi,
I have uploaded several PDF files to my nook and I am again facing the 
continual, endless "Refresh in progress" in my library and the battery drain... 
:-(
So I would like to ask for a feature(switch), which will disable/enable the 
automatic refresh of the Library content and do the refresh only manually...
btw. the stock library don't have this issue and if there is some problem with 
some of my pdf's there should be some timeout for the automatic refresh to 
finish even the library has some issue with one of the books and not run 
forever...

I have seen few reports of refresh issue, but never been able to reproduce it 
myself. I can't do anything without sample files/logs

Tomorrow I will send you an image of my sd card containing all books I 
currently have in my nook and a result of a full logcat....

looks realy good - the refresh is no longer stuck on "In progress" and logcat 
is showing no errors.
