Can't upgrade file #27

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. From Windows command line type "adb install -r nookLibrary.apk"
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Rather than reinstalling file with new version, you get the message
"INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_INCONSISTENT_CERTIFICATES"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Looks like you don't have the latest softroot. Do you remember when you did the
softroot?
You must be able to get the latest softroot and apply it on top of what you
have now
and upgrades should work after that.
Try upgrades from Trook. That should work too.

I'll try that tonight. I updated to the first post 1.1.2 softroot. I'm assuming
it's
been updated since then. :)

Updated to new softroot and it solved all my problems. Wish there was a way for
us to
know when you update the core softroot so that we can stay on top of it!
