Softroot cause eink failure #41

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downgrade from 1.2
2. Upgrade to 1.0.0
3. Upgrade to 1.2 custom fw

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is rooted nook, however the screen seems cannot be refresh
and the screen we close to pitch dark which notice on screen (eink) hardly
be seen.

After that device deveolps shadows from previous page that does not erase
byitself, and one single strip of white line displayed (never disappear)

Please provide any additional information below.

1. Have try take the battery out and power it up with USB with no
battery...in reboot cycle until I put the battery back in..(no difference,
all problem remains)

2. Have try redoing all precedures, same effect appears..pitch dark when
the selection of Home or (another selection) is required to be input..

P.S: Device has none of the problem before rooting

Hi,
see if you have any exceptions in logcat output (using - adb logcat).
