When one starts a new run, organisms mostly show up colored yellow or somewhere in the upper third of the fitness scale. The legend begins to rescale relatively soon after evolution begins as fitness goes above that level. Please adjust starting scale so that the fitness of early organisms are displayed with a color in the middle of the scale. This way it doesn’t look like the organisms start off with “high" fitness and it will allow user to see changes in fitness on the original scale before rescaling occurs. We’ll probably have to play around with this visually a bit to find a starting scale range that looks good visually.
