Because some indie developers disable mod/add-on/fanmade-file contributions by community, like here: http://www.moddb.com/forum/thread/cant-modify-my-download#1031088 perhaps current community perms should be transformed to options turning off visibility of mods/fan-based downloads on IndieDB (only on IDB; on ModDB all mod/add-on pages should be visible by default without any option to turn them off by indie devs).
So, rather than banning/blocking users from adding them to indie profiles, it should be a visibility toggle option instead, reserved only for indie game pages on IndieDB, as mod developers should be always able to add their add-ons/mods to indie profiles, even if those fan contributions would be visible only on ModDB, and not on IndieDB.
