Dev ToolKit debian image not booting after update #8

Hi, i tried to install the debian image from the dev toolkit to the nvme.

I copied it over and resized partitions, added a swap.

After doing this, i can reboot without issue, but as soon as i do an 'apt-get update / apt-get dist-upgrade', it downloads a gig of updates, no errors, all seems working fine, until i reboot.

The ROMA logo comes up and is followed by a black screen

Any ideas?

After some experimentation, I've narrowed it down to some form of custom video driver in the install that gets ovetwritten on upgrade.

For your own testing purposes, I'd go as granular as possible down apf list --upgradable and install a single new package, reboot, guess-and-check.

I'd also recommend backing up your initramfs to somewhere other than /boot, since that gets overwritten occasionally and needs the initial version [again, I dunno why]
