the answer at this point is likely no. I have attempted to build the u-boot provided by spacemit and it does not have the configuration for the board of the DC ROMA PAD II (kx107) which might have unexpected consequences.
Someone with deeper knowledge might want to provide some insight here. Thanks for asking that question. I'm interested in this as well.
update: I have decompiled the device tree blob and am working on a u-boot for the device that should work. Will take some time until it fully works though.
Looks like Bianbu stack is available from https://developer.spacemit.com, is it possible to build it to install on the Pad?
