BUG: Fixed importation issue of modules in ASO and a "__init__" #57

Hi @allemangD

Every time we opened Slicer on our computer, the extension ASO wasn't imported because of some of the module. So I changed the importation method where the error occurred.

I suspect this is out-of-sync with main, so I created #58 with rebased changes and instructions on how to bring things back in-sync. Let's proceed with making that pr correct instead of trying to adjust the history in this PR.
