In case of multiple fragments which reside under one TM number we would like to have physical descriptions attached to each fragment. An example is http://www.trismegistos.org/ldab/text.php?tm=62913.
The suggestion is to expand our current scheme of using @corresp to address single fragments. Currently we can already assign a specific Name/inventory number etc. to each fragment and display it (e.g. in http://litpap.info/dclp/62499 "column 8" has "P.Herc. 1672 col. 8" below it. Since all elements used in <physDesc> can take @corresp (http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/ref-physDesc.html) we could add elements like <extent> or <dimensions> referring to single fragments by the virtue of @corresp, or have <msPart> or <msFrag> with @corresp for each inventory number ( http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/ref-msPart.html).
<physDesc>
@corresp
<extent>
<dimensions>
<msPart>
<msFrag>
At the moment it is possible to encode this in the xml (and we will try to implement it in some examples), but there is no implementation in the editor or navigator for it.
per discussion this morining, unassigning and leaving on the backlog for now
