7 years ago Note also that since ":" is prohibited from the name of a Segment Tier, currently it is impossible, by renaming the initial Segment Tier, to make its name consistent with that of other Segment Tiers that are added subsequently. My suggestion from earlier today about setting a default Participant would eliminate this issue, in any case.

"Display Time Period" is shown at the top of the Database View window, just above the Temporal Partition and Segment Tier labels.
The original intent was that a user could Option-Click and drag to mark some portion of the video, and then with that line selected, choose "Play Video" to play just that portion of the video. Since that has not been implemented (although it would be nice to have), it would be good to remove "Display Time Period" from the template.
If "Play Video" is now the equivalent of "Play Utterance", then having that label be consistent between the Utterance and Database View windows, i.e., replace "Play Video" by "Play Utterance" in the Database View so the toolbars are maximally similar. [low priority, but... ]
