I did delete the original and manually rename the second of the Global Sign Bank files to test Sign Bank functionality, and it seems to be working.
Will look into possible things that could cause a download of " 2" in the filename.
Appears to be fixed. At least this problem has not recurred.
Was not able to find a bug in the script that would lead to creating a duplicate signbank with " 2" in the filename. Closing for now unless the problem is reproduced.
The above scenario just happened again with the latest SignStream version, Mac OS 11.3.1
@cneidle Does this happen consistently? As in, if you follow the same steps from download release to disable quarantine to run to get signbank, can you get it to happen 100% of the time?
I think this may be triggered by a prior unsuccessful attempt to download the Sign Bank file.
When downloading the Sign Bank fails (in this most recent case, because Augustine was re-uploading it), in principle, things should be left in their original state. But perhaps that doesn't quite happen.

Tried forcing the download to fail, but it doesn't seem to affect subsequent downloads. Can you send the output of GetSignBank.command
when it creates globalSignBank 2.xml
?
I just tried to get it to happen, but it didn’t.
Next time it does, I’ll send the output.

This may be a Big Sur issue. Need to test.
This does not appear to be a Big Sur issue.
Can not reproduce.
Will have to demonstrate in person.
problem persists

OS 11.3.1
When I installed the new version, I ran the "get sign bank" command.
When I tried to search the sign bank, however, nothing showed up.
I looked at the folder with the sign bank files, and it seems the the sign bank was installed with a different filename and therefore is not being found for "search sign bank".
