UNDESIRABLE UI CHANGES from previous version: 1) Database Window Toolbar

If possible, can you please swap the icons (colors) for Display Non-empty and Refresh Default Display? That way the same icon used previously for Display Non-empty will be used in the new version for the same thing. I am drafting documentation, and it seems silly to have to explain that the previous Display Non-Empty icon now is used for something else, and a different icon is used for Display Non-Empty.

I have to say that I also feel silly having to explain this:

For consistency with the options available in the Utterance Window, there are sets of buttons available in the Database Window for both Event (7 in Figure 1) and Entity (8 in Figure 1), although at the Database View level, both correspond to Utterance. So, either set of buttons can be used with reference to an Utterance. The “Video” label (2 in Figure 2) has been replaced by a label for “Range” (9 in Figure 1) – which refers to the entire video.

If it were up to me, we would have a single grouping (not Event or Entity, but Utterance), and we would change "Range" to "Video". The toolbars are not otherwise identical for Database and Utterance view, so we should make this maximally transparent, as far as I'm concerned. But I was overruled on this. SO I will need to have these explanations in the documentation.

I have to say I am unhappy about this. This is unnecessarily user unfriendly. It seems absurd that we have to wait until version 3.8 to be able to announce that we finally have 'Play Utterance' labeled as such in the Database View. It likewise seems unfortunate that we have to begin our documentation about the purported improvements in the new version with explanations about how and why the toolbar for the database view has become more obscure. If it is too difficult to relabel "event" as "utterance" for this window (which would be an improvement relative to the previous version), is it at least possible to hide the "entity" grouping here, which is a new addition that serves no purpose at all here, and unnecessarily introduces confusion ??

This is not correct:

This should be fixed prior to next release.

It looks like the color change was implemented and deployed in v4 but not merged into v3.
