There were changes made to allow SignStream to work on the latest Mac Operating System. I believe these changes would break SignStream from working as expected on older Mac OS versions, such as 10.14.
Greg suggested this might not be a 10.14 issue. I will retest on 13.
FWIW, I am also running 10.14.6 and this has never happened for me.
I wonder if this is related to the fact that the Terminal window automatically activates (but does not actually show up as open) whenever SignStream is launched (which it certainly should not do). #620.
Indya has been using the current release version of SignStream: 3.4.0.
All her tickets will be referring to that version (she has just submitted two tickets; I expect there will be more).
I helped her install that new version a few weeks ago. Since then a new Sign Bank file has been put in place.
When she launched SignStream earlier today (I was doing a screen share), she got this message:
She clicked on OK, but then nothing happened. We waited a while. SignStream had launched (i.e., was visible in the upper left of the menu bar), but no terminal window had opened.
We did this twice on her computer; same result.
(I was not able to reproduce this on my computer.)
We quit and I had her delete the Global Sign Bank file and click on the GetSIgnBank command from the SIgnStream folder, and she was good to go.
Although it does take a very long time to launch SignStream on her computer.
