In the Database view, with "no" Segment Tier or Temporal Partition selected...
The Menu items
Macro Unit->Segment Tier->{all subitems}
Macro Unit->Temporal Partition->{all subitems except "New Temporal Partition"}
Will either popup an alert block stating an error with the "Display Time Period"...OR it will do nothing.
Some possible behaviors it could do are...
-Grey out these menu items if the segment tier or temporal partition is NOT selected.
-Display an alert telling the user to select a segment tier or temporal partition.
