I have offered suggestions for creating a unified set of options for gesture coding that would subsume what the speech scientists and ASL gesture researchers want/need. But there are additional functions required for speech, as included above. It would be hugely impactful if we could restore those, as well (some being higher priority than others; we can discuss if time permits). FWIW.
