I wonder the same. Binaries updating out of the blue without any kind of a digital signature are quite the red flag, especially when seemingly "official" project sites contain no release notes or other traces of that new version. Very odd!
Hi @sonduko and @SwissJay, sorry for the scare. Yes, there is a new build of WPP. I didn’t have the time to upload the new binary here.
Please update the README with the new version, even if not yet available in releases page. Having a binary on my server with a "non-official" version number is quite worrying.
Or, at least, reopen and pin this issue, so people (like me) can find it easily and know everything is ok. (I was going to downgrade to latest available till I had a look into "closed" issues...)
Is a new version for WPP silently released? Today I get surprised by a new message. When starting WPP it shows a a message "Please Upgrade .NET Framework on this machine" WPP version info shows 1.5.2401.21 installed which is newer than the one here in the repository. Auto Update Feature was enabled.
