Checklist

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open OuterTune
  2. Play any song you like
  3. Let it play for 1-2 seconds
  4. Pause the song(this bug cannot be produced when the music is playing)
  5. Now close the app/ clear the app from the background
  6. check your notification drawer for media controls you'll find the song paused

Expected behavior

When you clear the app from the background/ simply close the application, there shouldn't be media controls in the notification drawer in any case. basically the application should close completely.

Actual behavior

media control notification doesn't go away when the app is closed/cleared from recently being used apps when you pause the song and close the app

It is actually a feature which i personally find helpful. Although you can turn this feature off by going in Settings Screenshot_20241130_220855_OuterTune.jpg

Player and audio> scroll down to advance then turn on 'Stop music on task clear'. Screenshot_20241130_220522_OuterTune.jpg

Hope this helps you. (ik it will)

ummm.... no that doesn't solve the problem, that feature is basically for playing the song even when you clear the task. the song won't stop playing unless you click the pause button. the bug i've mentioned is regarding the media control notification which stays even when you pause and clear the task(even when this setting you've mentioned is turned off). you can try it.
