It seems to be Neon.js, Neon's parent. It's been archived and no longer maintained.
Leave that there and put a link to the newer site at the top.

I was googling to get to Neon to use it to look at some MEI files, and actually first went to the result for neon.simssa.ca, which seems to be a very old version. Should that be up still?

The neon.js repo has a link to the current Neon repo. Is it better to add a link to the neon website to neon.js website? Also, when clicking on the Neon.js home button, it points to a 404 page (https://ddmal.music.mcgill.ca/neon). Which page should it direct to on the DDMAL website?

It probably is supposed to go to https://ddmal.music.mcgill.ca/Neon/ (with uppercase N.) Come to think of it /neon and /Neon should probably have some sort of relationship between them...
Also it seems weird to me that the "home" button for Neon.js is not actually a home button but a link to a much newer app. A message like the one @dchiller describes seems necessary here...
Maybe others won't fall into the trap... to be fair ddmal.music.mcgill.ca/Neon does seem to show up first in my google searching. But yes, it could be good to have something on neon.simssa.ca that says "This version of Neon is deprecated. Please visit ddmal.music.mcgill.ca/Neon" or some such.

I've fallen into this trap, so you're not alone...It seems to me it would be more consistent with other deprecated apps for this to live behind a .archive URL in its entirety, no?
I was googling to get to Neon to use it to look at some MEI files, and actually first went to the result for neon.simssa.ca, which seems to be a very old version. Should that be up still?
