Sign preview - fixed width #99

Can the sign in the preview field be a fixed width - so that varying the size of the window does not affect the contents?

@tamsinappleton I think we agreed on Weds that this was a suggestion to help with rendering issues on IE11. Can we close this, and track specific problems with the IE11 presentation on issue #76 ?
