What

We can not use the New Transport font on none .gov.uk domains.

Why

To maintain consistency across Defra's internal services

Libre Franklin has been mentioned as a fallback font before, I think on cross gov slack.

Home Office use Inter UI.

USWDS have released Public Sans, an open source typeface too (based on Libre Franklin).

I'd follow the Service Manual on this and default to the Helvetica, Arial, San serif font stack. Unless theres a good reason to deviate
