I'm a user researcher for the Apprenticeship Service. During testing of improvements to the Find Apprenticeship Training service, I spoke to a real user of the service with an accessibility need and they used dark mode when using online services to help them focus. When I asked how we could make the service we were testing more accessible, they wanted the ability to use the service in dark mode. Therefore, I recommended implementing dark mode to the Find Apprenticeship Training service to make it more accessible. Being able to use dark mode on the Find Apprenticeship Training service, and likely to other services across DfE, could be really valuable.
