In user research, schools have struggled to understand the different roles of:
appropriate bodies
lead providers
delivery partners
In particular, this is confusing to them because delivery partners and appropriate bodies are often the same.
In our current design, we have a toggle which can be opened to explain each role in more detail, however, we found:
in research, no one opened this toggle
schools wanted to look at guidance or an explanation for these roles in 1 place, rather than separately, as they are dependent on each other and sometimes may even be the same organisation
they need to know how they differ and how the responsibilities are compared
We need to think about how we can use design to help schools understand these 3 roles for organisations better, and what this means for their responsibilities.
When we do this, we might also want to revisit using the toggle (details component).
