Repairing items #1832

A set of custom reactions that use an appropriate reagent to repair an item. This reduces item wear while maintaining decorations and kill counts. This should probably decrease the value of the item, but the repair material could be used as a decoration to help counteract this.

A set of custom reactions

Is this in the scope of DFHack? i.e. are these custom reactions something that are possible in vanilla DF, or would they require a DFHack tool like add-spatter/steam-engine to support (and if the latter, does such a tool already exist)?

It's nothing I'm aware of, but I don't think you can repair items with vanilla reactions or add decorations that way. I don't know that you can check for wear level, either, if you wanted it to be smart about that.
