4 months ago only shows on lan, even tried transferring world data over, changing a nd assorting admin ids , how is this not more simple and straight forward..... i dont want to use hamatchi or any other software....

4 months ago I legit cant find anyone making a successful dedicated server. theres no support for this code on github. pretty disappointed theres no video's to these set ups to diminish any confusion.... ive now restarted my pc 4 times, restarted this whole thing about 8 times , and trying different things.. my friend also has done the same... thyis code is just shit and doesnt work... all this code does, is set up lan servers for those who dont want lan servers.... fucking rough

1 week ago I just had this issue, disabling windows firewall allowed it to work on Win 11. Not sure what exactly was blocking it as I allowed the ports, but maybe that will help you figure it out.
I've followed all I can with setting up the dedicated server. its beyond me what I'm doing wrong.... everything is set per instruction. I don't know why it has to be so complicated when I'm getting a similar problem as everyone else... It just doesn't show up on in game server or steam server browser... ports are sorted bat file is done. firewalls down. Im just not seeing it. and same with my friend who set up the same way, we cannot see any server we set up from each others house in different cities.....same country, 3 hours apart... its painful to wait for one of us to come home and start the server manually by creating one in game.... Im dumb and mostly likely missed something but if two of us are doing it, same problems then what are we doing wrong...
