Feature Request: Show Different Status Icon for Uncollected Items in Bag

With TWW adding Warbands and with it, account wide transmog unlocking, could we perhaps get a status icon (a blue 'X' or 'O or something? to indicate that we have an uncollected item in our bag/bank? For example a BoP cloth piece on an plate wearing character, can't trade, but it's stored in their bank for when TWW releases. I understand it's a hard ask when the feature would be depreciated immediately when Warbands/TWW come out.

I believe they made a statement that current items would not be effected for this very reason. They don't want people hoarding/collecting things. Only items gathered after the expansion is released will be able to be transmogged by the "wrong" class.

I believe that was in reference to BoP items that were previously picked and then destroyed or sold before the Warbands rolls out, but I could be mistaken. Would be weird that existing items wouldn't just update to allow collecting but the same items picked up afterwards would.

Regarding the Blizzard Watch link - literally at the bottom reads: "Update

Blizzard clarified in the Deep Dive panel that transmog restrictions will be lifted from older drops as well. You will be able to run older raids and your alts will get appearances from the drops, even if the original character couldn’t use or equip them."

Regading the Wowhead link: Warbound items going forward is refering to items that you can actually trade between your own characters until equipted. This has nothing to do with transmog and is for when you get what is normally a BoP gear, you can send to another one of your characters, but not give to another player.

I'm still not convinced on the wording either way and it doesn't seem Blizzard has specifically promised either way on how the tech will work exactly... Probably still being refined.

In either case, I don't think we will add something to ATT to identify potential transmog unlocks under a non-confirmed assumption based on vague wording as it could easily mislead users if that assumption becomes false in the future.

Once the alpha/beta of TWW is out, we may be able to confirm upcoming functionality and account for it then in some way in ATT.

I believe we have enough alpha info for TWW and confirmed statements from Blizzard that this functionality would make sense to incorporate into ATT for the interim. I plan to try working on this sort of feature soon so it can actually benefit people prior to it becoming irrelevant 😉

If I am not mistaken, this issue can be closed.

Prior to the release of Warband patch, we had a Yellow "Future Warbound". At the release of the patch all items in our bags, regardless of the type were "Collected" with the exception of Class Exclusive gear pieces (Example being Legion Tier sets).

Upcoming Patch 11.0.5 will resolve the rest of the issues where we will be able to obtain Class Restricted gear AND retroactively get Transmog items from already completed quests throughout our questing history.
