This is a suggestion for an improved first impression for the starting town. In TomE 2, town houses have colored roofs: tome2_house_with_colored_roof

Also the starting town has color animated water: tome2_animated_water

This sticks with me every time I start a new game with ToME2, the starting village looks just a bit nicer than other ASCII Angband variants I've played so far. This might be a nice enhancement for Unangband's starting town too.
