I test the installation of the master of DGtal on the lastest debian 6.0.7 and obtain some problems with boost:

liboost-program-options-dev is not included on the package manager, so the user need to upload it and install the .deb manually.
boost::icl gives some errors related to FrechetShortcut class.

Perhaps we can list the problem/solution (by a manual installation of boost) in the main page pf DGtal ?

This is mentioned in the howtobuild. This issue is related to distrib package systems but there's nothing we can do in DGtal.. (except the doc) Can I close this issue ?

Yes, I agree but I just add a warning in the doc (see PR 591)
