We should get the design to work with both rectangular and square logos, as users will want to use whatever they have. Logos should work at multiple sizes, which is a mild pain, but it's the kind of thing that will really trip up users. Make judicious use of object-fit, maybe? There are tradeoffs, but "cover" is often pretty good.
