How to change the frontend language?

Hi I'm not actively developing this extension but the language is based on the language Joomla runs on.

Hi, that's what I thought.. But I use the map on a multilanguage website and the language never changes - it's always german. And german is not even the standard language... Btw. it's a great extension, I really like it!
