Scanning virtual blocks and No Service - #51

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Any
2. Installed and Jailbroke all from 3.0 to 4.0 on iPhone 3g
3. Scenario was replicated on each.

Results:
It takes for ever to boot into Froyo after Scanning virtual blocks twice; once 
at boot and another under the Linux Penguin. 30mins or more total boot time.

"No Service" after booting with every test scenario, after a total of 7 
different install/test.

Used R12b and c and got same result.

Thank you for the great work and effort. Just the fact that this is available 
for testing is a great hope and excitement.
