uclogic-probe failed to get manufacturer string descriptor : Pipe error #1

The command fails with a Huion GT-185HD. Its identifier is 256c:006e

Hi, It was with the last release.

Hmm, it could be that the tablet doesn't like the receiving buffer size. Could you please post the "lsusb -v" output for your tablet? Thank you.

Aha, so the Linux kernel also has a problem with that. I think I should add skipping of such an error to uclogic-probe. I'll leave this issue open until I can get around to it. Meanwhile you can simply remove the relevant part of the code to proceed.
