CSIP32 Digital provenance metadata amdSec/digiprovMD For recording information about preservation events the standard PREMIS is used. The PREMIS metadata must be either embedded or linked in a digital provenance metadata (digiprovMD) element. This requirement is not sufficiently clear. Is it legal to place other files than PREMIS files in preservation? If so, do they need to have a digiprovMD element?.
