hi ! no keyboard inputs in cardinal standalone ugly fonts with vertical jitter in some menus and textboxes

OS: Kubuntu 24.04 LTS x86_64 DE: Plasma 5.27.11 WM: KWin Theme: [Plasma], Breeze [GTK2/3] server: X11

any idea/workaround ?
