Standalone mode for vitalium?

I started using vital mainly because

of the standalone
jack can be substituted with pulseaudio without any third party (jalv) assistance, like in odin2.

Is it possible to build the standalone version of vitalium using this repository?

No, this is unsupported.

You can use the plugin in Carla which supports a pulseaudio backend.

Did Vital's author not release the code behind the standalone?

JUCE provides that. I just dont enable such features on this repository. Feel free to use any of the other forks that provide that.

Trying to edit samples within Ardour's interface does not work consistently due to a bug of some kind. The "Remove Group" never works and "Add Source" only works sometimes, and trying to input any numbers given an audio file source does not work either. I have had similar issues trying to input any kind of text inside of Helm.
In the standalone version, this does work, making it better for editing.
However, due to Vitalium having a different name than Vial, I cannot easily use presets I make in Vial in order to get around this bug when using Vitalium.
Therefore, I think it would be highly beneficial to enable the standalone version of Vitalium in this repository, for the purpose of being able to consistently use the same preset library.
