Plugins not listed inside Ildaeil

Hii. I just installed Ubuntu Studio 23.04, and right after Ildaeil , but none plugins is shown inside Ildaeil. Installed all available formats, Lv2, clap, vst3 etc, and Bitwig 5 finds Ildaeil, but with no plugins to choose from inside.

Downloaded "Ildaeil-linux-x86_64-v1.3.zip" and unpacked it, and dragged the folders to my preferred plugin locations. The version of Carla is 2.5.4

This ought to work then, assuming you copied the entire ildaeil folders and not the individual contents inside. That is, Ildaeil.vst folder vs Ildaeil-FX.so alone

What plugin formats of ildaeil have you tried? (for ildaeil as plugin)

Hiii again, and thank you for your fast reply, but sorry for my late reply. I enabled "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntustudio-ppa/backports" for Ubuntu Studio 23.04, and it then updated Carla to 2.5.5 and now it is working :)

@falkTX: It looks like I have a similar issue on Manjaro. Carla is 2.5.7 and works fine, I see lots of LV2 instrument plugins there, such as Dexed, Surge XT, setBFree, gmsynth, etc.:

OTOH, Ildaeil-Synth (1.3), running as either LV2 or VST3 in Ardour, only lists a handful:

It's the same issue with Bitwig Studio, with Ildaeil running as CLAP (for some reason, Bitwig doesn't recognize the Ildaeil VST3s, although they appear to work fine in Ardour).

This only seems to happen with the Synth variety of the plugin, MIDI and FX seem to work fine. Maybe it's a plugin categorization issue? But Carla seems to recognize all LV2 instrument plugins just fine

Now, granted, this is on Manjaro (Arch derivative), and Ilaeil wasn't in the official repos, so I had to install it from the Arch User Repositories. But it seemed to compile and install fine.

Anyway, as the bug is still open, I thought that I report it here, to provide another data point. It's not really a big issue for me since I can just use Carla itself to wrap the LV2s in Bitwig.

I have the same issue on EndeavourOS (arch based).

I've tried clap, vst and vs3 from the .zip in realeases. Just dragging them into .vst .vst3 .clap, as I usually install plugins..

lv2 plugins show in Carla, but not Bitwig...
