CMS - cursive text (rich text field) turns into *text* when published #420

In the following rich text field (see attachment), when you enter cursive text, it is actually published as regular text between **. Result (attachement) is ugly 🙂. Not sure if it happens everywhere.

This is because the content isn't piped into markdownify. For example; what's done in 62f71b893188934a01fcfce285b0a371106b0e53
