Exporting bug #29

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open blender
2.Make model
3.Unwrap the model
4.Texture the model
5.Try to export

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see this instead:
http://wowsvn.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/wowsvn/CAP/error.png
I get the error and my model duplicates itself.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Blender version 2.63
SMD Tools version 1.2.0 on Windows 7 32 bit

Please provide any additional information below.
When i just make a model and export it, it works fine. I only get a warning - 
no material selected
When i unwrap the model i get the error. And no file exported.
