Addon will install but will not enable. #48

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. open user preferences
2. install addon
3. attempt to check box

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

tick should appear in box, instead addon is grayed out.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

latest 32-bit version on win7 64bit.

I have tried the 64bit version of blender, the 2.63 versions as well as the 
2.63a versions all to the same result

This is because you don't have a vproject environment variable set. Either run 
the Source SDK or get the latest revision:

http://blender-smd.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/io_smd_tools.py

Nope, I have the newest version of blender, and running the newest version of 
source SDK, and it's still not working.

What does the console say? Enable it with Help > Toggle System Console.

I checked it today, and now it works. Maybe i just had to restart the computer.
