Cannot enable smd tools #66

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I try to enable smd_tools I it won't let me check mark it.
It just stays as it was.
I have smd_tools in the addons folder of blender

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
smd_tool 1.6.3
blender  2.65
windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
do I need to have python for the smd tools to work?

Can you enable the console (Window > Toggle System Console), try to enable the 
tools again, then copy/paste what anything displayed?

Sorry I forgot to place both of the files inside of the 2.65 folder.
