Independence 1.2.5 tells me Connected to iPhone, Firmware 1.0, activated, AFC
connection,
jailbroken. WiFi works, and so does YouTube, weather, iTunes, Safari. But I
put in my T-Mobile SIM
and I have no bars, no signal. The SIM works on two other iPhones I've
unlocked running FW 1.0.2
and 1.1.1. I don't care about upgrading (unless I don't have any other
alternative), I just want the
phone to be able to work ... in Canada.
Problem could be because I started with an earlier version of Independence and
ended up using
1.2.5, or could be due to a conflict between Independence 1.2.5 Open SSH and
AppTapp Open SSH I
installed first (now uninstalled). AnySIM failed.
Should I restore to factory settings and start over? Revirginize? Upgrade?
There must be a simple
solution to get the SIM to work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
