iPhone need to be connected #291

I reported a problem in a previous post, of iNdependence not opening.
Now I'm wondering if an iPhone needs to be connected to my Mac for
iNdependence to work.

It may sound stupid to not have one connected,  but I was just trying to
get information on the viability of unlocking before I actually purchased
a phone.
