Unable to Upgrade to 1.1.1 after downgrading to 1.0.2 #297

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Accidentally upgraded to 1.1.2
2. Downgraded to 1.1.1
3. Downgraded to 1.0.2
4. Ran the Pre-1.1.1 upgrade through independence
5. Upgraded to 1.1.1 through itunes with option-click on update and 1.1.1.ipsw 
file
6. After upgrade the phone was in recovery mode and Independence would not get 
it out of 
independence mode. I waited about 10 min.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected independence to pull the phone out of recovery mode so I could 
activate my phone in 
1.1.1

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.3.5 beta,  OSX 10.5.1, Itunes 7.5

Please provide any additional information below.
