Can someone be more specific about this.
I have an otb iphone running 1.1.2 jailed and unactivated. Normally I'd downgrade to 1.1.1 install
octoprep, upg to 1.1.2 and perform jailbreak.

I saw this not on the home page that independence works with otb iphones
running 1.1.2. Well,
DUH, you still have to downgrade to 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 so how is that any different?

Am I missing something?

Is there anyone out there who managed to unlocked OTB 1.1.2 iPhone? Can you
tell me
how did you do it? I tried doing it on my iPhone but I still dont have a phone
signal, nor I can make a phone call.

No, no one can unlock OTB 1.1.2 iPhone at this time. You can however use a
TurboSim or StealthSim.

So I guessed it is misleading to say that the new version works with OTB 1.1.2,
to
avoid confusion I think it would be better to say iNdependence 1.3.1 with
regards to
iPhone OTB 1.1.2 does the following:
    Activate – OK
    JailBreak – OK
    Unlock – NOT OK
