Uploading AppTapp Installer #334

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

When I open (run) AppTapp Installer (v 3.1) from my desktop (Mac OS 10.5.1),
I’m asked to select
my iPhone’s firmware. The selections are 1.0.0 , 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 but my
iPhone is at level 1.1.2
which is not an option. Could anyone advise if I have the most current version
of AppTapp and if
so, how do I proceed.

I would also be grateful if someone could send me detailed installation
instructions on installing
and using AppTapp Installer on my iPhone. FYI, I’m using iNdependence 1.3.1
as the application
to upload program.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iNdependence 1.3.1, iPhone 1.1.2, Mac OS 10.5.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Thank you for your kind assistance

You have to manually add the AppTapp application using Independence.

Get the download package for Installer and CTRL-click on the package. You will
get a context-menu with one
of the options being 'SHow Package Contents'. Select this one to look inside of
the installation package.

In the package (under Contents/Resources), you will see an item labelled
'Installer'. Select this and copy it to
your desktop.

Use the Independence customization tab to add this application from your
desktop to your iPhone.

Works like a charm! The Installer application works, its just that the
installation mechanism that does not for
firmaware1.1.2

One thing, though. When you launch AppTapp Installer on the phone, you only get
a few apps on the list. One
of the items on the list is a folder labelled 'SOurces'. Select this and there
will be something called
'Community Blah Blah' (I can't remember the exact name). After this is
installed, you will have a much longer
list of applications to choose from.
